Description
Head of the local church and representative of NeoTheology on the CEV "Eris". His task is not only to spread the influence of NeoTheology by any available methods, but also to maintain unity among his flock as well as the revival of believers and the funeral of the infidels according to Catholic-like canons.

Guide
For starters it is best to give direction to your local church members, such as starting the Bioreactor and fueling the Biogenerator. You are not expected to run it yourself as your clothing will not protect you from the bile mass that secretes from a dirty reactor pipe. The preacher is not expected to dive into maintenance for roaches or other critters, nor are they expected to clean the halls. You are expected to give direction for the church and spread the faith among the crew.

Inquisitors, are another story. An inquisitor will seek a private audience with you and may share their objectives with you. Their objectives are seen as utmost priority from the Church itself and must be completed. Will the be completed in haste, or will you take your time to complete them? That is up to you and the Inquisitor, as they hold more power over you and can easily dismiss you if you fail to heed the Church's will.

Information on the Bioreactor and Biogenerator can be found here: Guide to NeoTheology

Group Litanies and Rituals
Unlike other Church members the Preacher can gather the church members together to perform group litanies. The preacher should announce the litany they wish to commence and those following must read after him.

Most of the group rituals work equally. The Preacher reads the first word of the group ritual litany, and after that the believers repeat the Preacher's words. Then the Preacher reads the next word and the believers repeat again. This continues until the end of the ritual. Any other words or incorrect litanies will cause the believer to be removed from the group ritual, or the Preacher to stop it.
If the ritual failed, you can't trigger it again. Only one ritual can be started per round.

Upon the completion of a successful litany, everyone in the group who followed along will gain a boost in stats depending on the litany chosen. Group litanies increase your stats by 3 points with a 1+ per each believer who was in the group ritual. Also, group litanies will give you access to the "Crusade" litanies, which are mostly used by NeoTheology battle troops for strength through faith.

See below for the Crusader Litanies.

Crusader Litanies
Any of the Crusader litanies needs a special amount of people to unlock the higher tier of it. To open all Crusader abilities you should have at least 4 believers with you, and the Preacher.

Note: Crusades are something you want to discuss among your followers and not publicly. Publicly discussing a Crusade could cause unintended consequences such as IronHammer raids or an uprising on the ship against NeoTheology. You should also not use these litanies at the beginning of a round, only after a suitable threat (such as changelings) has popped up for all Christians to gain access.
Name !! Description !! Тext
Eternal Brotherhood || Shows to you all other believers, or anyone who has cruciform, by giving you the NeoTheology HUD. This although stops your cruciform from regenerating energy. || Ita multi unum corpus sumus in Christo singuli autem alter alterius membra.
Call to Battle || If you have any Crusaders around you, using this litany will cause a global upgrade of the "Toughness" and "Robustness" stats. || Si exieritis ad bellum de terra vestra contra hostes qui dimicant adversum vos clangetis ululantibus tubis et erit recordatio vestri coram Domino Deo vestro ut eruamini de manibus inimicorum vestrorum.
Searing Revelation || The most powerful litany that you can get. Using it will stun everyone who doesn't have cruciform for 4-5 seconds, but it also has a big chance to stun you. It can be a reason why IH would start making problems to NeoTheology. It would be better if you hide this litany until it is needed in battle. || Per fidem enim ambulamus et non per speciem.

Tips
* Nonbelievers will very rarely convert to NeoTheology by themselves, you need to search interested ones and spread the word of NeoTheology by either pamphlets or private messages. We don't recommend using the radio too much as IH may dislike that. Try to bring people to Church and tell them more about the religion to convert them, and don't be afraid to ask believers to help you with the propaganda, it helps to have someone who can be trusted to reassure the nonbelievers to convert. Then notify the preacher someone wishes to convert.

* While trying to convert people try to not use the "fear of death" or other factors like that, you will scare them instead of making them more loyal to you. Remember, immortality is a reward for the believers, not a tool to scare the infidels.

* You are a Preacher, not a soldier, so you must prevent your death by any means. If you die, the church aboard loses a major leader. Your Acolytes are the only people also capable of cloning so consider living especially important when they're not around.

* Group prayers sung together will last for 20 minutes outside the church and can be refreshed by going near an obelisk. The stat buff lasts forever until changed- try to get a lot of Christians together for just a good +8 or +11 stat bonus for the faithful

* While converting IH may seem like a good idea, you need to remember that there's a reason they can't be roundstart Christians. If you baptize IH personnel, don't be surprised to see them fired.

* While Technomancers can be roundstart Christians, it is very foolish to attempt to convert one mid-round. They worship AIs and use augments religiously, the exact antithesis of the Church's principles.

* Compared to the other Heads on the CEV Eris, you are both considered relatively harmless and are not tied to a desk like the others. If the situation calls for it you can act as an ambassador to other factions or a neutral third party.
quote = If you even say the phrase eject the SM again, I will feed you to it.
}}
<p>
Description
The Technomancer Exultant is the leading engineer aboard the Eris. He supervises and maintains the organs and lifeblood of the ship: the extensive power net and piping system, the shields and thrusters, as well as the generation of power using an SM crystal. His job is to make sure everything works, and to fix it if it gets broken. He is the de facto leader of the Technomancers; a tight knit group of free thinking engineers, mechanics, roboticists and architects. They were hired to reside upon the Eris and maintain it at full efficiency during its many travels.
Guide
<p>
As the Exultant, your first priority will be to set up the SuperMatter engine. Refer to the guide for a full description of the process. The engine is extremely important to game progression; after the round starts, without it the power will wane in about 40 minutes causing power outages across the station.
<p>
Your second priority should be upgrading the SMES units and setting up the shields to cover the area around the Eris. This process is also described in the SuperMatter Guide. If this isn’t done, the ship is vulnerable to asteroids, foreign fauna, and outside breaching. A decent sized asteroid will make some areas of the ship uninhabitable, not to mention killing anything that's unlucky enough to be standing under it. The shields will absorb these blows as long as they are charged enough.
<p>
Third priority should be refueling the thrusters. This is described in the Guide to Technomancy.
You will want to do this if the Captain decides to travel to somewhere during the round. Make sure you keep an eye on how much fuel is left during travel. This is important if you actually want to travel somewhere without setting the ship adrift with no way to propel itself, usually running into asteroid fields.
<p>
If these things are all done and take care of, you can rest easy. Just remember that things usually don't stay undamaged for long and you might be called on to do repairs or troubleshoot problems with the ship.
Tips
*You have Blueprints of the Ship available to you. This means you can rename all the rooms aboard. Feel free to give the ship your own flair by re-naming the areas you think need it most. The names will be used for all announcements regarding those rooms, and be changed in the camera and map systems.
*Your advanced hardsuit is a powerful piece of tech, that provides good radiation protection and supports many modules.
*The Hatton device found in your locker is a powerful instant breaching tool, that can breach even the strongest of shutters, airlocks, and walls.
*There are many rooms aboard the Eris that have been abandoned to the roaches. Maybe there is rebuilding potential there?
*You can order many things from cargo to help you with your work, or personal projects. Check the Supply Console, in the Engineering section.
*Experiment. If you feel comfortable with how the ship works, and how its systems fit together; feel free to try your own set ups and builds for the Engine and other ship systems.
<p>
Description
The Moebius Expedition Overseer(MEO for short) is the head of the entire Moebius operation aboard the Eris. Also ensures the Agreement between Moebius and the other factions is enforced to the letter. He delegates his medbay responsibilities to the Moebius Bioloab Officer who takes care of the day to day medical treatment of the crew; This allows for a focus on advancements in Research.
Guide
<p>
You are the head honcho in the Science Department! That means that all of your employees under the research division will be paid directly out of your departments account. Maintain a steady balance lest your own staff lose faith in your abilities to pay them.
<p>
Your main responsibilities include directing the research efforts of the Scientists and Roboticists; and fulfill those duties in their absence. You will start in the main bridge conference room with the other heads of staff. Feel free to chat with colleagues and listen to the captains agenda. You have an office in the bridge with a locker; as well as another office inside of the Moebius research area.
<p>
The most important thing to find in your locker is the Harpoon hand teleportation device. There is one in your bridge office, and two more of the devices in your research office. These will let you teleport yourself to any location, and teleport anything towards your current location. Watch the battery life and don’t end up in space!
<p>
The other important piece of equipment is the AMI RIG hardsuit which can be found in your research labs office. Put it onto your backpack slot and press “deploy hardsuit” in the IC tab. This RIG is custom fitted with an Alden Sarsparova radiation scanner for anomalies and optical mesons. It also has a filtration system for clean oxygen which means you will not require an oxygen tank to use it EVA. This piece of armor will protect you from many environmental hazards and other types of damage.
Tips
<p>
*Look around your office to find some extra things such as some circuit boards and a Personal AI unit. You may wish to use these things for research as they can net quite a bit of points.
*You have access to the research departments’ funds. Find the account number and pin in “Notes” in the IC tab. *Use the EFTPOS Scanner found in your office to charge directly to your departments’ bank account.
*Charge for everything that’s not considered medical service. If we at Moebius were allowed to charge for that as well; we would.
*You have your own shuttle in the Department. The MEO should accompany any expeditions beyond the ship and encourage further exploration.

Guide
You are at first and foremost, a Doctor. Your goal is to provide guidance to your medical team to provide the best medical care so as to prove to Moebius Laboratories that Moebius are the best medical professionals throughout the Hansa.

You are not permitted to charge for immediate medical care, but if the crew requests performance enhancing drugs or pain killers you are free to charge your price for them.

Giving medical care to the crew is your utmost priority before profit. Your paramedics must find those who require medical assistance and bring them to the medical bay where either you or your doctors will save them. Keep your team busy, do not let them meander, for it may lessen the knowledge gained for Moebius. Have the chemist prepare for future events, doctors prepare for future surgeries and do not forget to request new medical equipment from RnD. They are your colleagues and will not hesitate to supply you with new resources.

Tips
*Do not forget to ask Moebius Scientists and Roboticists for items they may benefit you, be they MediBots or new tools to make surgery easier.
The Commander of Ironhammer is the commanding officer for all of the Ironhammer personnel stationed aboard the CEV "Eris."

Guide
You start on the bridge with the rest of the heads. After a short meeting, go to the brig and coordinate the work of your subordinates.

Guide your subordinates
* Divide the operatives in teams of two, verify they are fully equipped for patrol and send them to patrol.
* Give instructions to the Gunnery Sergeant, let them know to monitor the cameras and keep track of the equipment in the armory.
* Additionally, you may instruct the Inspector to observe a department, or a specific crew member if you have any suspicions.

Having distributed instructions and instructions, go to your office. From here you have a beautiful view of space. Take the badge from your locker, wipe it gently and put it on, remembering the ideals of justice and order. Then equip your holster and FS HG .40 "Lamia." The telescopic baton in your pocket will help you feel even more confident.
<p>
There is still a lot of work ahead, lieutenant. Get down in your easy chair and exhale. It's time to request a report.

Tips
* Be sure to be in touch with other departments. If you do not have enough staff, contact the First Officer, he probably can find someone. If there is a need for new equipment - talk to the head of the Moebius Labs. And so on.

* Do paperwork. Need someone to arrest? Write out the order. Do a search? Write out the order. To issue military weapons to an important crew member for self-defense? Write an order and permission to carry and use weapons. And do not forget to signature stamp the paper.

* Protect yourself and your access. You are a very important person, and it would be a shame if, as a result of an attack, a contractor seizes your ID card and weapon. Always be alert and stand up for yourself.

* You must be aware of the threats that may hang over the ship and its crew. And, not least, be able to resist them effectively. What could be the goal of traitors? Who is in danger? Are there any double agents among my comrades? Ask yourself these questions often.
And most importantly, remember: you are not a bloody executioner. You are a valiant defender, even if hired for money. Do your job professionally and without much blood. And in such cases there is its etiquette.
1. Wrench the canisters in the ports marked with <span style="color:#FFA500">Orange</span> (1) squares. For this guide, use plasma canisters as the vastly higher specific heat (10x that of nitrogen) makes it ideal for generating lots of power while minimizing risk of delamination.

2. Max out and turn on the pumps marked in <span style="color:#87CEEB">Light Blue</span> (2) so that the gas flows freely through the loops.
These filters will filter gases OUT of the coolant loop and into waste canisters, because we use plasma turn off plasma filter. These filters should be in the correct configuration on round start.

7. Once the canisters in the <span style="color:#FFA500">Orange</span> squares are empty, replace with four more canisters of the same gas.

8. Be sure to use the RCON console (found in the room with the computer in the pink square) to turn on substations that are off back on and allocate more or less power to substations that need it. Most substations can run optimally with 200 input power without having power failures.
(Optional) Double check everything.

9. Turn on the emitter using the switch upstairs. Located south of the RCON console.

Basic Principles
The Generators
The core power generation is done by the Thermo-Electric Generators (TEGs). There are four in the engine, and they are powered by the flow of two gasses of differing temperature through their two sides. The larger the temperature difference, the more power generated. Note that they are less efficient when generating more than 500kW, but are not harmed by doing so, despite the intermittent sparks generated.

Gas Loops
There are two gas loops in the engine, the cold loop and the hot loop. By mixing in the generator, the temperature of the gasses are equalized somewhat, so the hotter gas should be reheated, and the cooler gas should be cooled. This is where the supermatter comes in. The cold loop flows from red pipe, to generators, to the green pipe, then out to radiators in space to cool back down. The hot loop flows from yellow pipe, to blue pipe, then into the supermatter chamber to be reheated. The supermatter, when excited, produces a large amount of heat, and will probably burn some of the plasma in the hot loop. In order to remove the products of this combustion, everything except plasma is filtered from the hot loop.
Oxygen in the hot loop is a very bad idea - it leads to fires, which can rapidly raise the core temperature to dangerous levels.

Notes
The plasma setup can withstand EER up to 1500+. You can simply just leave emitter on since it's bottlenecks at ~1400. Setups with other gases aren't as safe - you'll want to do a few shots, maybe 6-12 depending on the gas.

TEG power output depends on the difference between the temperature of the loops, and the heat capacity of the gas mix in the loops. While the hot loop doesn't get particularly hot with a pure plasma setup, it still generates vastly more power due to the high heat capacity, meaning it's bother safer and outputs more energy.

It's also a good idea to upgrade the two SMES units (the ones side by side in the computer picture) using the parts in one of the crates south of them. Otherwise tinkering with shield input power could prevent needed substations from getting proper power applied. To upgrade them, follow the small guide below.

* Turn off the charge mode for both SMES units and wait for it to hit zero.
* Power off the SMES unit completely and open the maintenance hatch with a screwdriver
* Stuff one of each of the given SMES coils into both units
* Close the maintenance hatch
* Power on both SMES and max out both the charge and output levels

Remember to download the shield modification program to turn on the shields and explore the extra options as well as tinkering with the input cap. Enabling the engineering section bypass allows the SMES units to charge the shields much faster, and is recommended - but it might be best left till later, as it can be a bit of a power hog while it charges to maximum capacity.

Entering the lower floor once the engine has started should be avoided unless absolutely necessary - the supermatter emits an EXTREME amount of radiation, and it's even been seen to penetrate full protection.

Fighting the Delamination
It is typically intensely difficult to completely undo a delamination, but it can be substantially delayed by following a few principles.

* The SM is cooled by gas. The more cool gas it has available, the more stable it will be. If the engine begins to delaminate within the chamber, pumping more cool/room temperature gas will help.
* Plasma fire tends to rapidly accelerate the delam process. It is advisable to keep oxygen as far away as possible from the SM. If not shut down or welded, the air pumps in the engine room will perpetually pump more O2 to fuel the fire.
* The engine room SMES running out of power is a near death sentence - the blast doors will no longer move, the powered pipes will not work, and the emitter will not fire. Use the Pacman in the engine room by wrenching it onto a wire knot, but watch out for overheat.
* In atmos, there is a pipe labelled "n2 to core." This pipe will be able to pump large amounts of n2 straight into the SM which will abate all but the worst delams. However, atmos runs out of power very fast and is a distance away from the SM.

The Thrusters
The CEV "Eris" is a space ship. It may not look like it, but it is. To fly through space it obviously needs thrusters, these thrusters are maintained by the Technomancers aboard. There are two thruster rooms for both sets of thrusters aboard the ship. For the inevitable Captain who may fly the ship without understanding his ship, your job will be to maintain them.

Refueling
When the time comes of CEV "Eris" drifting through space, you will need to refuel the thrusters immediately, lest you hear the ominous announcements of Meteor's incoming forever. Before getting started, know the color coding for the following images.

*Red: Your fuel
*Light Blue: Main Pump
*Blue: Vent Pump
*Pink: Fuel Valve

Each Thruster room is the same, just switched depending on which side of the ship you are on. To refuel the ship, you simply need to flood plasma into the borosilicate rooms as seen in the images.

Select your fuel, nominally it is plasma, and wrench the canister to connector port. Then Open the valve (Light Blue) to begin pumping plasma into the mixing chamber.

You have just refueled the ship. However, always remember to keep the Fuel Valve OPEN (Pink) and it will be indicated as so if there is a green or red light.

Things to Note: You can ignite the fuel for more thrust, and even mix O2 into it, essentially the hotter it is, the more thrust you will obtain. However it is quite unsafe as doing so without knowing how fire works can lead to a plasma leak or worse, the detonation of the Thrusters.

Refuelling Plasma Canisters
Whenever you have expended the plasma canisters located in the Thrusters room, you may need to refuel them. To refuel the canisters wrench an empty canister to the Connector Port (Yellow Square). Afterwards, open the valve (Light Red). Then just wait for the canister to be refuelled.

Note: Do not open the canister if it is not wrenched to a connector port unless you want to release plasma into the air

Tips
*Should you accidentally unwrench the Emitter, simply wrench it back in place and weld it onto the platform. It should work again.
*Opening the 'Waste to Space' valve in the Engine room can offset the issue of the waste canister getting full.
*Placing the shield on atmospheric containment can alleviate many issue when someone create holes in the ship and reduce the need of using inflatables.
