Descrpition:

Ironhammer Inspector carries out on Board the CEV "Eris" operational investigative activities and legal proceedings.

Guide:

Ironhammer Inspector at work

Your haven — reception and office, where there are various consoles necessary for work, as well as your personal belongings, neatly folded in a locker next to the table. Get equipped and get started. And for God's sake, bring a crime scene tape. Better yet, ask the operators that probably arrived there before you to limit access to the crime scene with their tapes, and find witnesses from the crowd.

Your power gloves — the latest development of Frozen Star are powered by standard "M" power cells. Periodically check the charge and, if necessary, replace the power source, if you don't want to get into the an unpleasant situation.
Please note: the revolver that is on your belt is empty. Don't forget to reload it.

Investigating a crime scene is impossible without your suitcase with specific tools, the purpose of which is clear only to you.

  • Fiber collection kit — magnifying glass and tweezers to collect clothing fibers. Want to know what the burglar was wearing? Explore the gateway to the fibers.
  • Fingerprint powder — aluminum powder and a special brush — to detect fingerprints.
  • Luminol bottle & UV light — a bottle of luminol and a black light bulb will help you detect traces of blood at the crime scene.
  • Fingerprint cards — fingerprint cards. Just don't forget to take your gloves off...
  • Swab kits — kits (test tube + cotton swab) for collecting various "samples". Blood, saliva, gunpowder... To collect saliva, aim for the mouth. Powder particles — aim for the hands.

But to collect evidence (by the way, do not forget to put them in special bags for evidence, a box with which lies in your personal locker) at the crime scene is only half of the work. Next, you will analyze the fibers, prints and samples in the laboratory with the help of your colleague, who holds the position of medical specialist. I recommend that you get to know him, in order to facilitate further work.

To analyze the evidence, use a high-tech microscope — it will immediately give you a report. To study the samples that you collected using swab kit, use a DNA analyzer.

Tips

  • Keep track of everything that happens on Board. Pay attention to the radio traffic. Ask your partner, if one is present, to monitor the cameras, and coordinate with him if the situation requires it.
  • Always wear gloves when working at a crime scene. otherwise, you'll be in your own way, leaving your fingerprints all over the place.
  • It's not such a bad idea to recruit an informant. Believe me, there are always people on Board who do not mind for an additional fee to "help" the guardians of order.
  • Interact with your Department. if you have to go to a dangerous place — ask the operative to accompany you.
