Combat on CEV Eris differs from standard Space Station 13 combat. Besides having greater access to firearms, CEV Eris sees a greater share of massed combat.
- Don't charge a enemy position blindly, especially down stairs where your line of sight is obscured and mobility hampered
- Do carry a medkit with you, if you don't immediately die you can patch yourself up or help someone else that was less fortunate than you
- Don't appear where the enemy expects you to, there is an concept called flanking. I'm not sure what it is but it sounds very useful.
- Do take into consideration the location, all the places the enemy can approach from, is it a hallway? If so it's probably not a good idea to run into an area that restricts movement and has no easy escape routes. Is it very maze like? If so, you should be cautious when traversing as you might walk straight into an ambush
- DON'T shoot your team-mates. If your team mate is in-between you and the enemy, don't shoot. You are probably going to hit him instead of the enemy. This goes the other way around too, don't mob the enemy, if you put yourself in the line of fire don't be shocked when you are hit by friendly fire, maintain clear lines of fire and don't get in each other's way
